England Talent Training Camp

Darren enjoyed a warm weather training camp in Paphos, Cyprus from April 18th to 24th with the England Talent Team. The team comprised of England’s up and coming swim stars who are preparing for the World and European Junior Championships in the Summer.

The camp was split into a boys and girls camp, with the girls training in Coral bay and the boys in Paphos. Darren worked with the boys camp where the swimmers completed two 2 hour pool sessions every day in addition to their land conditioning programme lead by Darren who was pleased the teams work ethic. “The swimmers worked really well in and out of the pool all week. I was particularly impressed by their close attention to technique during their core strength and stability sessions with me. We didn’t have an major injuries to deal with so it proved to be a really productive camp for the lads. I’m sure they’ll all perform well in the Summer”.
